The scope.
NRF Contracting completed a series of epoxy flooring and facility marking improvements at Romet Ltd’s Mississauga manufacturing facility during the plant’s summer shutdown.
The work included walkway resurfacing, structural crack repairs, safety floor markings, and epoxy coatings for office and assembly areas, improving safety, appearance, and the durability of existing floor surfaces.

Project details.
Walkway Resurfacing & Crack Repair
- Repaired approximately 200 linear feet of concrete cracking
- Resurfaced 6,000+ sq. ft. of epoxy walkways and traffic areas
- Installed Royal Blue pathways with Safety Yellow markings
Safety Floor Markings
- Added durable epoxy safety markings throughout the facility
- Defined eyewash stations in Jade Green and electrical panel zones in Safety Red
- Improved visibility of critical safety areas
Office & Assembly Area Flooring
- Coated approximately 477 sq. ft. of office and assembly space
- Installed a two-coat Grey epoxy flooring system
- Added yellow edge striping to help define work and traffic areas
The outcome.
The completed improvements created a safer, more organized and durable work environment, with repaired surfaces, high-performance epoxy coatings and clearly defined safety and traffic zones throughout the facility.
